Not only does Brighton offer top class dining experiences, but also offers this with plenty of twists. From eye-catching burlesque and cabaret shows to comedy and live music shows verging on totally bonkers. Great for hen or stag dos or those in the mood for something alternative!
Brighton Ballroom
If you want something more than a basic dining experience and are after a little flirtation and fun, then look no further than the Brighton Ballroom. This historic venue is not only a retro super club (think decadent glamour) but offers a luxury 3 course menu and unrivalled burlesque, cabaret and music entertainment programme.
Live performances take place before; during and after dinner and then all guests can brace themselves for the dance floor afterwards! The food on offer is ‘British and Proud’, so you’ll find exquisite classics, such as Beef Wellington and Dover Sole as well as other meat, fish and vegetarian dishes.
Their main super club nights are on Fridays and Saturdays but there is something going on most nights of the week, and a night here isn’t one to be missed. Great for big groups or those in the mood for a very entertaining night out!
The 3-course dinner and night’s entertainment is from £29 per head.

Bom-Banes Restaurant
Bom-Banes is an eccentric café-restaurant located in the heart of Brighton, in the city’s bustling Kemp Town. It certainly offers diners a different culinary experience- great food along with a medley of entertainment ranging from live music to film nights. The most entertaining event is the ‘Bom-Bane’s: The Musical’, which consists of a 3-course set meal with original songs, tunes and surprises performed by owners and musicians Jane and Nick with help from the rest of the talented staff!
Picture having a delicious dinner whilst songs about dinner, and how Jane opened the café, and how the staff arrived singing and playing instruments, are being sung brilliantly for your entertainment. You’ll laugh continuously from beginning to end- its madness!
A 2 course meal costs £21 and 3 courses for £25 (with music included). There are a selection of menus on offer, including an a la carte evening menu, specialising in sausage and mash, such as Oxford Pork, Spicy Italian or ‘Bon-Banger of the week’ from £9.75. They also cater well for vegans and vegetarians and those with a sweet tooth.
A night out at Bom-Banes restaurant is great for big groups and those wanting to escape the dullness of the real world and experience hearty enjoyment.
